나의  살-던 (I miss my) 고- 향- 은(blooming home –town)       
꽃- 피-  는 산 -    골 (it sits on the mountain-valley)

복숭아꽃 (peach blossoms)    살구꽃(apricots) 아기 진달래 (baby azaleas)

울긋불긋 (a nice and colorful)  꽃대궐 (arcadia) 차-린 동-네 (adorned with beautiful flowers)

그 속에서 ( I miss my old) 놀던 때가 (play-mates and those times)
그립습니다 (on the play-grounds)

나의 살던 고향은 꽃피는 산골
복숭아꽃 살구꽃 아기 진달래
울굿 불굿 꽃대궐 차린 동네
그속에서 놀던떄가 그립습니다.

I miss my blooming home-town
It sits on the mountain valley
Peach blossoms, apricots, baby azaleas
A nice and colorful arcadia adorned with beautiful flowers
I miss my old play-mates and those times on the play-ground

나의 옛고향 (that's my old home town)

파-란-들 (such sweet winds blew) 남-쪽에서 (south from the)
바람이 불면 (field of green)

냇-가-에 (They danced with the) 수-양-버-들 (leaves of willow-trees)
춤-추-는 동-네 (sitting on the flowing creek)

그-속-에-서  (these are the longings and) 놀-던-때-가 (dreams of mine )
그-립-습-니-다. (I'll never forget)


꽃 동네 새동네 나의 옛고향
파란 들 남쪽에서 바람이 불면
냇가에 수양버들 춤추는 동네
그 속에서 놀던 때가 그립습니다


Village of flowers, village of birds, that's my old home-town
Such sweet winds blew from the south field of green
They danced with the leaves of willow trees sitting on the flowing creek
These are the longings and dreams of mine, I'll never forget
